Since 2015, we have become the new home of the Canadian Psychological Association Foundation and we are responsible for administering the awards and grants program.

Congratulations to Dr. Kristin Fossum, Recipient of the Dr. Bea Wickett Award 2024!

We are proud to announce that Dr. Kristin Fossum has been awarded the Dr. Bea Wickett Award in recognition of her impactful work supporting students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs).

This award will help fund Dr. Fossum’s project to enhance emotion regulation skills among rural students by implementing an evidence-based group intervention. In addition to directly benefiting students, her initiative will also build educator capacity within the Limestone District School Board (LDSB) in Kingston, Ontario, equipping teachers with tools to better support their students’ emotional well-being.

Congratulations once again to Dr. Fossum on this well-deserved recognition!

Please note that no further disbursements will be available for this award in the future.
